About Me

I Believe That

Our sessions are focused on you.

It’s important for me to provide a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself. There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to therapy, and our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns. I believe that:

  • We only heal if we take care of ourselves.

  • Sometimes small steps in the right direction are the most significant steps in the end.

  • People underestimate their ability to change. It’s possible to change and enjoy life again.

  • Loving and accepting ourselves for who we are, scars and all, is one of the most courageous things we can do.

  • Even if we feel we’ve lost hope, it’s possible to show up, commit to ourselves, and do what it takes to start feeling better.

  • We all have the inner strength to overcome our challenges.

Being a therapist is an honor. I am committed to helping you facilitate positive change, become healthier and more empowered, and achieve more fulfilling lives.

My Journey to Become a Therapist

My life experiences and knowledge lead me to become the therapist I am today.

I am a dedicated student and advocate of mindfulness and positive psychology. I enjoy reading and learning about the connection between mind and body, promoting the importance of a healthy lifestyle, believing in good sleep habits, intuitive eating, exercising regularly, and meditating.

I started my professional background at UC Davis and then graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University with a Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy/Art Therapy. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with people from many backgrounds, starting my career providing therapeutic counseling to high-risk children and working with adults, couples, families, and children alike.
